I've been very fortunate when it comes to my working life: I've never encountered a situation where I felt my hair was an issue. And I'm very blessed to have never been told outright that my hair needed to be changed or modified in order to keep my job.
It is shocking to me that there are countless stories of women being made the butt of jokes from their co-workers for having natural hair or even getting fired.
