Although we are several months away until Spring (Damn you, Punxsutawney Phil!), I've been checking out Spring fashions with excitement at the thought of warmer weather. Mlle Gabrielle Daffodil Dress ($39.00, Alight)

This dress is SOOOOOOOO on my "to buy" list for the Spring! Surplice neck runs into empire smocked elastic waistband. Lined.



Boho Dress ($79.20, ShopBop.com)

I am loving this gorgeous asymmetrical maxi dress. I'm actually jealous of my slimmer sistren because this is not in my size! LOL


















 Denim Puff-Sleeved Dress ($48.00, Torrid)

I call these "Weekday Dresses": Nice enough to wear to work and cute enough to wear After 5 pm.

SIDE NOTE: I am not obsessed, but I am little bit dorky about this Torrid model. She is pretty much my weight loss and hair growth goal in human form! lol

And I love this last dress primarily because it comes in sizes XS through XXXL.... so my girls big and small can rock this!

This is number two on my "Must Buy" list.. I'd like to get them in two of the three colors this dress comes in (Black, Ivory, & Purple)

So the temperature is definitely dropping in New York City and this Brooklyn Geechee is doing some researching on her "Freezing but Fabulous" Style.

The Side Button Coat ($129.99 - $149.99, Jessica London)in Marine Blue is first on my "Must Have" list. I am SOOO LOVING the wide envelope collar.

I am loving this knit set BIG TIME... BDG Ribbed Slouchy Beanie ($28.00, Urban Outfitters), BDG Cable Convertible Glove ($16.00, Urban Outfitters) and BDG Cable Knit Scarf ($24.00, Urban Outfitters)

I just can't decide if I want the yellow or the black!! (What do you think, y'all?)

And of course a purse-crazy chica like me cannot resist adding a new handbag to the outfit!!!

I chose the TOO CUTE Deux Lux Seamed Satchel (Now $49 - Urban Outfitters)

And of course, friends and family, I would not be mad if I saw any of these items underneath the tree, alright? LMAO

:::drools::: Rachel True-style for Plus Size Fashionistas

Rachel True's style is the perfect example, in my opinion of Boho Chic... its sexy, earthy and fun as hell! I decided to tackle one of my favorite outfits of hers and recreate it big girl style... enjoy!



For the top, I chose the Aqua Chiffon Rose Sublimation Print Kimono Top ($44, Torrid), as I thought it was a flirty compliment to her paisley print top.



The Pocahontas Denim Skirt ($19.99, Alight) is sexy as hell and I think it compliments this outfit beautifully.



And I didn't forget the shoes and handbags this time!! The shoes are the UBER-DOPE Chinese Laundry Nice Boot ($69.95, DSW) & Vintage Sequined and Velvet Elephant Bag ($14.99. Tias) has been added to my "to-buy" list! LMAO

Called "the happy place with all the treasures" by Tracee, this closet is just...... ::deep sighs:: wonderful.

So when I spotted this picture of Janet Jackson in NYC during fashion week on Bossip, I knew I had to seek out a full(er?) figure version of this outfit. The people at Bossip might be questioning if this outfit is a hit or miss, but I certainly think it rocks and am looking forward to incorporating it into my everyday work steeze!

And how D-O-P-E dope is it that the entire ensemble I found on Lane Bryant's website? The only thing not from there is the handbag (which I got from another site) and the shoes (which I didnt pick out at all! lol)
