Wanna Wanna Wednesdays... Jeffrey and Paula Print Tunic Dress
I am really in love with this gorgeous Printed Tunic Dress from Jeffrey and Paula ($65.00, SimplyBe). Now that we've reached the very early stages of Autumn, I am all about fall fashion. And for me, this dress was made for some tall boots, black leggings and black moto jacket... which is my idea of a pretty fashionable fall!!
How are you feeling Jeffrey and Paula's Print Tunic Dress?!? How would you rock this item?

Wanna Wanna Wednesdays... Forever 21's Houndstooth Peplum Top
Can I just say that Forever 21's plus sizes have REALLY been impressing me lately?!? I rarely shop there, not because I don't like the store, but it's not the first place I look. On a whim, I decided to check out their website to see what they had and was bowled over by the amount of really cute things I could totally see myself rocking. Believe me, it was tough to pick one for this post, but I think I went with the item I was most excited about!!
This adorable Houndstooth Peplum Top ($19.80, Forever 21) is something I could totally see myself wearing with a cue pencil skirt or trousers for work. And how cute would this top be with a pair of skinny jeans and some riding boots for the weekend? Hawt!!!
What do you think of this top? Is it a "Not Gonna" or "Wanna Wanna"?!?!? How would YOU rock it?

Wanna Wanna Wednesday... Aklia's Sunburst Glass Seed Bead Earrings
I'm back with another groovy goodie that is presently taking up residence in the "Must Have" corridors of my mind (Aww.. I'm so poetic! LOL).
This week, I'm sharing the Sunburst Glass Seed Bead Earrings ($75.00, Aklia's). I've been dying to get a piece from Aklia's line for years and years now, and now that I'm older.. I'm more inclined to invest in something a little bit more pricey, because it's something unique that I can keep for years. Maybe pass this down to a daughter one day.
$75.00 is a bit out of my budget now, but it won't be always. I am thinking that when I reach my "first level" goal of becoming a size 18, I will celebrate by getting these earrings! I'm down to a 24 now, so I am looking forward to working it out and reaching my goal. And I will be rocking these the moment I do!

maniCURATIVE: Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips
I've been dying to do a maniCURATIVE posts for ages, and thought now would be the perfect time to do one on Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips, which I use at least once a month and love to pieces!!! So....... let's get started! Here's what I used:
Step One: Opi Ridge Filler Base Coat
(I'm using this for the first time, since my favorite base coat, Essie Fill the Gap!
seems to have dropped off the map!)
Step Two: Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips (In Haute and Naughty
.. plus a surprise!)
Step Three:Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
The first thing I do is assemble everything I need on one surface. I lay the strips out for easy access, which makes it easy to grab and use when I'm ready to.
Haute and Naughty (pictured above) is not the only shade I ended up using, but since the second color was a last minute decision, I didn't have it ready on hand.
Anyway, I started with applying a single layer of the base coat, O.P.I's Ridge Filling Base Coat... I like so far. It dries very fast, which is always a plus!
Once the Base Coat is completely dried, I find the best sized strip to fit my nail bed. Once the best one has been selected, I peel the clear protective plastic cover.
Then I peel the nail polish strip itself from the backing paper.
I'm now ready to apply. So placing the strip against my cuticle line, I slowly press the strip to my nail, rubbing and smoothing the strip along my nail, to ensure it will bond to my nails.
Once the strip is secured to the nail beds, I gently run it across the tips of my nails and when I'm confident the strip is exactly the way I want it, I gently pull the excess strip away. If this is your first time using the strips and you're afraid of going overboard, feel free to use the handy file included with the kit to file away the excess.
Once the first nail is done, I repeat the process on the other nails. At this point, I decided it might be fun to try two different shades, so in addition to Haute and Naughty, I also used Mod About You
on the ring fingers of my hands.
I thought that the pattern would be a nice pop of color in contrast with the dark and dramatic shade.
Once all the strips have been applied, this is what it looks liked...
Now, the last steps is to fill away any jagged pieces or excess to smooth and apply the top coat. I love Seche Vite because it is super fast drying, which means in a few minutes... I'm done!!
Have you tried Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips before? What has been your experience? What is your favorite shades?

I Wanna Go Shopping with... Ashley Madekwe
Those of you that follow me on Twitter and/or catch my rantings, ramblings and revelations on the Miss Moon's Musings FaceBook page already know I STAN for ABC's "Revenge" BIG TIME. For those of you who had know idea, let me explain the depth of my affection for that show: One of the reasons why Wednesdays is my usual day off from walking is so that I don't miss a moment of the drama when I take Walk #2!!! LOL
The irony is that while I love the show with a passion, I cannot stand Ashley Madekwe's character on the show, also named Ashley (Davenport)!!!! Sad, but true.... but I cannot deny that homegirl can dress her tuchus off! And the same can be said for Ashley Madekwe herself. This, of course, is why I would really LOVE to go shopping with her!

Wanna Wanna Wednesdays... ASOS CURVE Dress In Mex Tex Print
Unemployment doesn't deter yours truly from spotting, drooling, and falling head over heels over various items online that catches my eye! Certainly not... I'm good at it!! LOL
That, my friends, is the inspiration behind my newest blog series, "Wanna Wanna Wednesdays"... in which I highlight an item that, well... I wanna wanna WANNNNNNNNA!!! "Wanna Wanna Wanna" comes from the Jodie Foster film, "Nell". It's one of my favorite Nell-isms (if you will) that I like to use on a daily basis!
This week, I'm all about ASOS Curve's Dress in Mex Tex Print ($48.17, ASOS). Crafted from lightweight fabric with a pure cotton trim and contrast. Featuring an all over bright coloured Tex Mex pattern, with a placket to the front, a seam to the waist, deep front pockets and a midi length skirt. With a contrasting crochet trim to the collar and cap sleeves.
This dress is perfect for the ridiculously summer-like weather we've been having lately in NYC. And it shall be mine... oh yes, it shall be mine!!!
What's presently on YOUR Wanna Wanna List?!? Share the items you're presently drooling over... who knows, it might be something I'd want too! I'm all about inspiration! LOL

I Wanna Go Shopping With... M.I.A
This is another moment, where I can literally hear some of you having the Vinyl Record Needle Scratch sound in your heads when you read the title of this post! LOL Some of you (hopefully!) went "Oh, hells yeah!", in which you can appreciate where I am coming from!
Say what you want about M.I.A, she has a style that sure enough gets her noticed. And while 50% of the time, I am not bowled over an entire outfit she's rocking... There are in almost every circumstance a piece or two that makes me want to yell "Get in my closet!!!!", which is why I would love to go shopping with her. I also think it would probably be the most interesting shopping trip I've ever gone on in my life!!!
I love her ability to mix patterns and have the results look strangely cohesive and harmonious! Plus, those shades are DOPE!
That top, those nails, electric blue tights?!?! I'm there!
Those leggings = YES!!!
I heart this jacket!! I think on anyone else it would look like Blanche from "The Golden Girls", but on her it rocks!
I want this tee!!!
I am diggin' every single lick of accessories she has on in this picture!!
Love the dress, love the clutch!!!
This is hands down the outfit I would wear, like, TOMORROW.. if we were the same size. But alas...
So gorgeous!
I am so recreating this photo one day!
Those shades!!
