Wanna Wanna Wednesdays: Windowpane Cutout Oxfords from Forever21
Just in case you were wondering by my last two Wanna Wanna Wednesday posts that I've become some fashionista who no longer shops on a budget.... I hope this post will alleviate your concerns! LOL
How adorable are these oxfords? I have been dying to get a pair of cutout oxfords and how lovely of the Universe to say, "Here, Audrey. And since you've waited so patiently, we're sending them to you in BLUE... your FAVORITE color!"
These oxfords ($29.80, Forever21) would be awesome with a nice dress, with shorts, with jeans and a tee... I can see myself rocking them all over Brooklyn this summer!!

Wanna Wanna Wednesdays... T.U.K.'s Purple Peacock Heels
Those of you who have followed this blog for quite some time will confirm the the following things about me:
1) I don't do heels.
2) I am cuckoo for all things peacock print.
With all of that being said, can I say that this week's Wanna Wanna Wednesday item is seriously making me rethink my position on the first statement! LOL
How adorable are these pretty as a peacock pumps ($55.00, Torrid)? As much as I wanna wanna wanna, I am a bit hesitant to splurge because $55.00 is a lot of moola to invest in something that I probably won't wear. Despite the mid length heel, my feel hurt just looking at them.
So what say you all? Should I snag these shoes as aversion therapy for a serious heel phobia? Leave a comment with your support (and how YOU'D rock this pump!)...

Wanna Wanna Wednesdays... Viva La Diva Plain Wellies
Confession time: I haven't owned a proper pair of rain boots since childhood. Crazy, right?!? With spring rapidly approaching, which means New York City will be rained on heavily, I thought that now would be the perfect time to invest in a pair. And my look came to a quick end when I stumbled across these!!!
The Viva La Diva Plain Wellies ($41.00, Simply Be) come in all the colors shown above, have an inner sock to keep our tootsies warm and dry and are cute as a button!!! Can you guess which color I'm ALL about?!?
That should not be a huge shocker to any of you, but I do believe I will get also investing in the black pair... for when I'm feeling a bit more demure!
What do you think of the Viva La Diva Wellies? What color would YOU rock?!?

Welp, it's that time of the week again! Time for me to share another item on my "Wanna Wanna Wanna" list. I haven't been doing a lot of shoe shopping lately. Truth be told, most of my time is spent rocking my "Red Magic Shoes", so I think that a pretty pair of flats is JUST what the doctored ordered!!! These Cutwork Ballet Flats ($69.90, Zara) are so prettiful I can't stand it!!!! LOL

I'm REALLY Diggin': Sseko Design's Precious Metals Collection
Earlier this year, I blogged about the wonderful women behind Sseko Designs, a company created to help facilitate the young women of Uganda continuing their educations. Shortly after my post, I purchased my first pair of sandals and promptly fell in love with them.

Miss Moon's Musing About: My Top Five Spring Essentials!!

This year I decided not to submit to the PayLess version of Chuck Taylors (Which are dope, no jive!) for the real Mc-Chucks!!! I haven't pinpointed which colors I want, but for $39.50 at Delia*s, I may get two!!!

I've been obsessed with this dress (The aptly named "Audrey"!) from Kenema & Co., and I think that in order for me to get one in my size, I am going to have to have one made, though I plan on contacting the company first to see if they'd be willing to hook a sistah up!

For Spring, I keep gravitating to super bright and super dark shades.. and I cannot wait to rock these babies on my fingers and toes -
Top (Left to Right): Jamaica Me Crazy (Essie), Dead Calm (Rescue Beauty), Desire (Drs Remedy)
Bottom (Left to Right): Slushied (O.P.I. Sephora Glee Collection), Bachelorette Bash (Essie), Happy Go Lucky (China Glaze)

I've been really looking forward to trying a Roller Set for the spring (I wouldn't dare apply heat to my head during the winter!), and this nifty set from Conair is a great place to start!!

Here's the deal with this stuff... it is my CRAAAAAAAACCK!!!! I want to be cocooned in this scent 24/7/365.. It's soft and sultry and just a perfect scent for spring. Not to mention that this shea goodiness is ultra moisturizing (what better way to combat winter ash!!!)
What's your YOUR list for Spring?!?! Do tell, do tell!!!

:::drools::: Cha Cha Shoes (and what to wear with them!)
| Andiamo Woman's Stunning Bootie |
My Mum is the Catalog Queen.... I know I have mentioned in a previous post that she's the Avon Queen... but she reigns over both kingdoms equally. LOL
My favorite pair of boots from Torrid (Seen here worn by me) has gone to shoe heaven (in a remarkably short time - major side eye to Torrid), so with fall here and the temperature dropping, I need to get a new pair of boots. Stat.
On the train ride home tonight, Mizz Lennid pulls out the Massey catalog, and I feast my eyes on a gorgeous pair of boots that I will be ordering this weekend. I also felt an immediate adoration for a pair of booties that are SO NOT my normal style.
I call these types of shoes Cha Cha Shoes, after Cha Cha Digregorio from "Grease", primarily because they look like the type of shoes she would wear, in my mind.

Cha Cha is sexy, alluring, bold and daring. In the "Grease" universe, I'd most likely be "Brusha Brusha Brusha", Jan.... But I really wanna let a bit more Cha Cha into my life, and these shoes are a reflection of this.
So I pointed the shoes out to my Mum she looked at me like I had three eyeballs. Without going into everything I just wrote here, I said I liked them and thought they were fun. She asked, "What would you wear those with?", which inspired me to come home and put together at least three outfits: one for work, one for the weekend, and one for a special occasion.

Women's Plus Pleated Jersey Tops - $19.50, Old Navy
Black Multi Seam Pencil Skirt - $29.99, Torrid
Ponte Knit Jacket - $79.50, Lane Bryant

Peacock Feathered Top - $19.80, Forever 21
Stretch Denim Jegging - $25.90, Avenue
Brixton Gain Cap - $48.00, Urban Outfitters

Midnight Dream Dress - $48.00, Alight
Linear Diamond Pointelle Tights - $9.90, Avenue
Red White and Black Hair Flower - $10.00, Bohemian Soul
Yvette Clutch by Melie Bianco - $55.00, LuLu's
Of course I may chicken out when it comes to rocking these Cha Cha shoes, but if I do decide... at least I know that I will have a few ideas on what to wear with them. What do you guys think? Should I splurge?!?

:::drools::: Dolce Vita Sandal Boot

I've been dying to get my hands on a black pair of sandal boots, ever since I laid my peepers on this photograph of Rihanna earlier this spring. Of course I don't have Rihanna money (I doubt I even have the change in Rihanna's couches, frankly! LOL) But thanks to my wonderful hubby-to-be, I was able to get my hands on a similar pair for a STEAL from the Pay/Half store in the Atlantic Center Mall in Brooklyn.

Priced at $19.99, these sandal boots are from Bucco Shoes, and they feel wonderfully and are very well made. I've had them only for a few days and have worn them once in that time, but I will be sure to post an update at the end of the month to report on how well they lasted adorning my love-to-walk feet!

:::drools::: Summer Shoe Edition
My lack of finances does not prevent a girl from dreaming... so check out the latest footwear to sport my imaginary walk in closet:
From Lulu's: Classified Ivana Tan Multi Vegan Leather Strappy Sandal is slide in style in an adorable quintet of mustard, teal and green with light and dark tan. Priced at $17.00, these shoes are not only adorable... they stir a nostalgic feeling.
My Aunt had a pair of sandals very similar to them, and I remember walking around in them, the shoes flopping around my too-small little girl's feet. These would be perfect coupled with a nice summer dress!! These Steve Madden Creatte Natural Multi Boho Chic Platform from Lulus is $48 bucks and I have to be mindful of my laptop's keyboard because just looking at them makes me drool profusely! LMAO
These Kimchi Blue Herringbone Gladiator Sandals are $38 at Urban Outfitters and are TOTALLY GORGEOUS!!!
And for summer days on the 9-to-5, these Seychelles Teardrop Slingbacks ($88 - Urban Outfitters)is how I dream to rock my workin' girl steez. These would just pop with a blue blouse and black suit!!
And I had to save my favorites for last....
And here is my imaginary walk-in closet in all it's glory! Ain't is divine!!?!?!
