:::drools::: Drew Barrymore-style for Plus Size Fashionistas

Yes! It's time for another plus size fashionistas post! This week, I am recreating a very VA VA VA VOOM look, courtesy of Drew Barrymore!!

How much do I love this look? Even though its not overloaded with accessories, the vibrant pop of color on her lips and toes really brightens up what would be a simple monochromatic look!!!

Drew's gorgeous dress is courtesy of Narciso Rodriguez, but I managed to find a similar dress that is not only curvy girl friendly, but significantly less expensive... And it's equally as fantastic!! Here's what I've come up with:

Dress: AGB Plus Size Dress, Sleeveless Striped Side Tie ($68.00, Macy's)
Earrings: Chain Fringe Earrings ($5.80, Forever 21)
Bracelet: Pieces Gyppa Bracelet ($16.36, ASOS)
Shoes: Jessica Simpson Shoes, Halie Platform Pumps ($89.00, Macy's)

To complete the look, be sure to rock a bold red lip!! You can't go wrong with MAC's Ruby Woo, CoverGirl's Lip Perfection Lip Color in Hot, and last but not least, Loreal's Colour Riche Lipcolour in British Red.

Cinema Couture: Music and Lyrics (2007)

I love Drew Barrymore's style and have featured her fashion in the past. When wanting to do an outfit recreation post for this week, I got the much needed inspiration in "Music and Lyrics" playing on cable.

The movie is funny as hell and how much do I love Drew's wardrobe in the film!!! It's very New York and it suited her perfectly in her role as Sophie Fisher!!

Drew, when are you going to come out with your own scarf collection and hook us all up?!?!

My favorite outfit from the entire movie is from the film's climax, is unfortunately I could not locate a decent photo anywhere. I decided to choose my second runner up for favorite outfit of the film, which is a pretty fly look!

So cute!!! Here's how I recreated the look:
Jacket: Women's Plus Canvas Military Jackets ($29.97, Old Navy)
Dress: Printed Midi Dress ($45.00, Simply Be)
Boots: Lulu Cognac Knee-High Boot ($48.50, Torrid)
Scarf: Ecote Abstract Open Weave Eternity Scarf ($29.00, Urban Outfitters)
Earrings: Made Brass Hoop Earrings ($17.91, Asos)

Now the earrings I selected from Asos are CRAZY on sale right now, and I can confirm that they are gorgeous in person!! I knew immediately when recreating the look I would select them.

I didn't include the sunnies or the handbag to my outfit, but if you really want to complete Drew's look, these shades from Forever 21, along with this bag from Lulu's would be the perfect place to start!

:::drools::: Drew Barrymore-style for Plus Size Fashionistas

Drew Barrymore is definitely a celebrity whose closet I would LOVE to raid!!! Not that I could fit anything in her closet (except her jewelry and accessories)....  but I would hold on to the items I took until I could fit into them!!!

I love this picture of Drew primarily because she looks great (Strolling with her honey Justin "I'm a Mac" Long....Are they still together?)and because she is reading one of my Top 10 Favorite Books!!

I started this look with the Lightweight Origami Flutter-Sleeve Top ($9.99, Old Navy). This lightweight flutter-sleeve top features origami sculptural details, sheer gauze and a sophisticated square neckline.

Beneath this I selected the Divine Denim Skinny Jean ($20.00, The Avenue)These ultra sleek skinny jeans are made from the most divine stretch denim for a perfect look every time.

I topped it off with the White Sateen Ruched-Sleeve Jacket ($39.98, Torrid)White sateen jacket has ruching on its sleeves, a rounded hem, and a single silver button-front closure.

I finished this look with the Metallic Sprinkled Gauze Scarf ($6.80, Forever 21) A gauze woven scarf featuring metallic threading, sprinkle-style threads, and knotted fringe ends.

While I am not sure where you can get Justin Long from (I guess you can contact his agent or something... perhaps it's on IMDB.. LOL!) I know that the sneakers and the book can both be purchased on Amazon.com... Hooray!!!
