:::drools::: Curvy-Friendly Vintage Wear by Ose (Uh-Seh)!!

Being a plus size lover of vintage apparel, I can definitely speak on the difficulty of finding plus size clothing in vintage shops. It really makes you wonder what the chubby girls were wearing back in the day! LOL

Fortunately,  a new consignment shop specializing in clothing for curvy girls has launched earlier last  month, Ose (Uh-Seh), created by the writer of the awesome Tumblr blog Mind of a Curvy Girl.

Ose decided to name the line after herself because it reflects who she is, “All my life, people have not known me for my real name pronounced “Uh-Seh”. I want this line to reflect who I am, and how I want encourage beauty and fashion in every plus size woman I have the opportunity to meet through my clothing.”.

On September 11, 2011 Ose (Uh-Seh) launched it's cyber home, www.oseuhseh.com in addition to having a “pop up shop” launch party at Paper Doll Boutique where Ose (Uh-Seh) will be sold for a limited time. Ose (Uh-Seh) will continue to have “pop up shop” locations in stores around NYC and also have trunk shows in the New York area and beyond. But you don't have to wait for the pop up shop to hit your area!! Here are a few of my favorite items that's currently up for grabs!!

Miss Moon's Musing About: The Fat Girl Flea Market 2011

Saturday my Mum, Sister and I headed off for a fun day at the Fat Girl Flea Market in NYC. I had attended a previous year, but for my familia this was their first time. Of course the place was a PACKED, so I unfortunately didn't get to take any photos while inside. I know, "BOOOOOO!!" :(





But we did manage to take some pictures outside of the venue (Held at the LGBT Center here in NYC), after we had shopped 'til we dropped!

My Sister and I, chilling outside of The Center with our bags. I'm wearing the results of my first ever Bantu knot-out! It came out pretty well for a first try, though I am kicking myself for not taking a better picture...


... especially since I made a point to take a picture of my manicure for the week! LMAO This is OPI's Black Shatter polish on top of China Glaze's "For Audrey"... Love Love LOVE the combination!!!


Here's Mizz Lennid, my Mama... looking lovely! She bought the cutest knit poncho from the Flea Market - I have to take a picture of her rocking it!


My sister won "Score of the Day" by getting an $80 SUEDE jacket (With the Tags still on!!!) for TEN BUCKS!!!!!

All-in-all... it was a great day of shopping.
