I was smack dab in the midst of a SVU marathon a few weeks ago and the realization that I hadn't done an "I Heart Her Hair" post on Tamara Tunie hit me like a ton of bricks.

Seriously how dope is Tamara Tunie as Dr. Melinda Warner?!? I love the episodes when she testifies in court, because she always finds a way to give the Defense attorneys a bit of snarky/sweet quips.. which always makes me chuckle!

Actress Sophie Okonedo has has received an Academy Award nomination for her critically acclaimed role in Hotel Rwanda, a Golden Globe nomination for Tsunami: The Aftermath, and can be seen in the movies Aeon Flux, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Dirty Pretty Things, and Skin (Which I recently saw and was bowled over by).

On top of her talent, wisdom and beauty... she has a gorgeous head of hair!

How much did I adore Yaya when I first spotted her on Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model?!?

She didn't quite make it to the title, coming in second place to Eva Marcille, but when it came to her gorgeous hair.... she's the tops! And can we in the Natural Hair Community make a formal request to Yaya to teach a LEARNING ANNEX course on her amazingly effortless but gorgeous updo's? LOL

I miss "Half and Half" tremendously... Who was Mona going to pick? Chase or Alonzo? More than finding out the answer to that cliffhanger, I miss seeing Rachel True's beautiful hair on a weekly basis (Can we get a DVD set going, people, okay?!?). Miss True definitely has curls for days!!!!... and that color is GORGEOUS!!!
