I have to admit, I don't know what I admire more about Leela James: her powerful, beautiful voice, or that jaw droppingly gorgeous hair of hers. Since this post is all about hair, I will let myself off the hook for today and say it's the hair... but the jury is definitely still out on that!

How dope is Jasika Nicole on "Fringe" as Special Agent Astrid Farnsworth?!? Smart, Funny, and with her dealings with Walter Bishop (who puts the MAD in Mad Scientist)... infinitely patient!LOL

Jasika Nicole is also an amazing artist, and her website http://www.jasikanicole.com/ is dope as hell. Check out her Revlon comic.. hysterical!!! All of that... and she has the most adorable curls!!!

I Heart Her Hair: Imani Coppola

I've been a fan of Imani Coppola's ever since I first saw her music video for "Legend of a Cowgirl" many many years ago. I consider that song one of my personal anthems to this day. And don't get me standard on Little Jackie and "The Stoop", I am super psyched about the new album Made for TV... I downloaded it a few weeks ago and it's DOPE AS HELL. Of course aside from her phenomenal music, she also has a simply terrific head of hair!!!

I am so envious of her daring color choices and I wish I could do that without the damage (If I keep things up, I might lighten Frieda up for my 40th birthday...six years from now!)

Actress Sophie Okonedo has has received an Academy Award nomination for her critically acclaimed role in Hotel Rwanda, a Golden Globe nomination for Tsunami: The Aftermath, and can be seen in the movies Aeon Flux, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Dirty Pretty Things, and Skin (Which I recently saw and was bowled over by).

On top of her talent, wisdom and beauty... she has a gorgeous head of hair!

How much did I adore Yaya when I first spotted her on Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model?!?

She didn't quite make it to the title, coming in second place to Eva Marcille, but when it came to her gorgeous hair.... she's the tops! And can we in the Natural Hair Community make a formal request to Yaya to teach a LEARNING ANNEX course on her amazingly effortless but gorgeous updo's? LOL
