Music Therapy with Miss Moon

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.
~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Solange may be cuckoo for T.O.N.Y, but for me, it's all about tomorrow. Why? Because today sucks sometimes. Not always, but lately, it seems to have reached its peak in suckiness. And rather than get back in bed and pull the covers over my head, I can muddle through with the belief that tomorrow will be better. And this week's Music Therapy song choice shares that same sentiment. This is a song that I was obsessed with as a child.

I had children's books of classic Disney movies that came with cassette tapes to accompany them and I played "The Rescuers" over and over again, just because of this song. Even as a little bitty, it filled me with tremendous peace and optimism. Having recently rediscovered the song as an adult a few weeks ago, I am overjoyed to have discovered the magic of the tune remains. I hope that "Tomorrow Is Another Day" (vocals by Shelby Flint) will give you the same joy.

Come along..
Will there be sun shine shining?
Will we find a silver lining?
Come along..
Sing a song.

When today becomes tomorrow,
Will we find joy or sorrow?
Sing a song.

Is it wrong..
To put all our hopes together?
To wish for something better?
Is it wrong...
To belong?

To face the future with another,
Who means more than any other,
Is to belong.

We'll paint the grey clouds with pretty rainbow hues,
And we'll brush the gloom away,
And save it for a rainy day,
Rainy day..

Oh today...
When troubles cast a shadow,
And shadows make the sun afraid to stay,
It's ok,

'Cause there'll be sunshine shining
And we'll find a silver lining,
Another day.

Tomorrow is another day, how i hope you'll always stay.
