Eight weeks into my Creative Visualization Challenge, I am so very happy to share that I got a job!!! And a damn good job at that!! Whoo Hoo!!

Due to Hurricane Sandy hitting the east coast, my first day isn't until Wednesday (Yay! Halloween) but I am filled with an overwhelming sense of  excitement and happiness for my future. It's an amazing (and legal!) high to accomplish something you set out to do. I have two more goals to accomplish for the year, and I will do my best to ensure they are manifested as well!!

I'm feeling so fabulous right now, is there any other song that can best articulate these feelings than "Feelin' Good" by Nina Simone? I don't think so... so sing along with me!!

Music Therapy with Miss Moon

This week's Music Therapy with Miss Moon song choice comes with a very important plea. Troy Davis is set to be executed this Wednesday, September 21. That is a mere two days away!

Since his conviction for killing a white police officer nearly 20 years ago, seven of the nine witnesses recanted their statements, new witnesses have come forward identifying another man as the murderer, and the alleged murder weapon has not been found.

Guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is supposed to be the foundation of our justice system. This principle is being defied, ignored, and trampled on in the case of Troy Davis.

But you can help Troy today by writing the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles to ask them to grant clemency for Troy Davis.

No one in this whole wild world is the same temperament every single moment of every single day. The sweetest person in the world can be a raging bee-yotch sometimes. The surliest S.O.B can also be quite generous in a single moment.

The people in our lives that we love are all capable of running the gamut of emotions. The same loving an attentive mate can be crabby and unresponsive at times, just as the sun rises and sets.
