Music Therapy with Miss Moon
" This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind... let it be something good."
~ Author Unknown
" Love the moment, and the energy of that moment will spread beyond all boundaries."
~ Corita Kent
" Begin today. Declare outloud to the universe that you are willing to let go of struggle and eager to learn through joy."
~ Sarah Ban Breathnach
Eight weeks into my Creative Visualization Challenge, I am so very happy to share that I got a job!!! And a damn good job at that!! Whoo Hoo!!
Due to Hurricane Sandy hitting the east coast, my first day isn't until Wednesday (Yay! Halloween) but I am filled with an overwhelming sense of excitement and happiness for my future. It's an amazing (and legal!) high to accomplish something you set out to do. I have two more goals to accomplish for the year, and I will do my best to ensure they are manifested as well!!
I'm feeling so fabulous right now, is there any other song that can best articulate these feelings than "Feelin' Good" by Nina Simone? I don't think so... so sing along with me!!
Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feelin' good
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feelin' good
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feelin' good

“The Gods cannot help those who do not seize opportunities”
~ Chinese Proverb
“We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.”
~ Charles R. Swindoll
"There will always be a Frontier where there is an open mind and a willing hand."
~ Charles Franklin Kettering
I love those moments in life when you receive confirmation from the Universe that you've made the right choice.
In my last Music Therapy with Miss Moon post, I was feeling a bit defeated after several set backs, but was convinced that I should continue with my Creative Visualization Challenge, because giving up and stopping would seem foolish, and frankly, a waste of the time and dedication I put into the whole thing in the first place.
So I continued expressing gratitude, I continued focusing on my goals, and I continued applying to jobs, convinced that there is a job out there with my name on it. And... I have several promising job interviews scheduled this week, including a second interview! Yay!!
I've learned something tremendous during this process. I've learned that the moment I feel like I should give up, and throw in the towel... is the possible moment that I'm on the threshold of the changes I desire coming into my life, so it will auger well for me to continue on the journey. And this lesson I gratefully share with you all in this week's song choice for Music Therapy with Miss Moon. I hope you all will keep on keepin' on with me to "The Climb" by No Doubt.
Step by step
I've come closer to reaching the top
Every step must be placed so that I don't fall off
Looking down to see about how much higher I am
Another cool wind comes through and brushes my skin
The harder I push the tension does grow
I gather my thoughts the further and further I go
With some luck I just might keep on climbing
So better to climb than to face a fall
So high the climb
Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
So high the climb Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
Pulling myself up by a rope
I better my view
The only thing in sight is what I must do
As I turned I could see myself falling
Which in return save me strength for the climb
So high the climb
Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
So high the climb
Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
Although many failed I must now prevail with no question
Have no time to stop
Onward to the top of the mountain
And I can't turn back now
Its so very high but I can't turn back now
If I keep it up, I'm gonna make it
I'm so very close can't you see
So high the climb
Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
So high the climb
Can't turn back now
Must keep on climbing up to the clouds
I'm getting closer

“ Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
“ Great difficulties may be surmounted by patience and perseverance.”
~ Abigail Adams
" Have patience. All things are difficult before they become easy."
~ Saadi
" If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.”
~ Buddhist Proverb
I'm six weeks into my Creative Visualization Challenge and as much as I wish I could be cheerfully announcing that I've finally got a job thanks to the process, alas the great job I've been working on manifesting has not made it's presence known to me just yet.
And I admit that I was a bit bummed about it for a while. I contemplated giving up on the challenge and treating myself to good old-fashioned pity party. But when it came down to the choice to quit or keep going, I decided to take the road less traveled and chose instead to keep on keeping on. Which is huge for me!
I am very much an optimist, and I know that circumstances change. I'm unhappily unemployed now, but I won't be forever. The situation I've been looking for is readying itself for me and when it comes (sometime soon, please!) it will worth the wait. So for now, I am keeping on my path and will patiently continue until I've reached my destination.
For this week's Music Therapy with Miss Moon song choice, I've picked a song that is perfect "traveling music" for keeping on the path with patience. I hope you all will enjoy Aretha Franklin's KICK ASS cover of the Beatles' "Let it Be".
When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
And when the night is cloudy there is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow, let it be
I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, yeah, let it be
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

" Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul."
~ Henry Ward Beecher
" We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures."
~ Thornton Wilder
" 'Thank you' is the best prayer that anyone could say. I say that one a lot. Thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility, understanding."
~ Alice Walker
Happy Monday!! Today I'm going to share a secret that has fueled my Creative Visualization Challenge..... Gratitude! How can you expect to receive more in your life without first recognizing the beauty that's already around you? When you focus on the great things in your life... and express gratitude for them every single day... you are bound to get more of it.
This is why I start the day... EVERY day, by writing down 10 things I'm grateful for. It could be something that happened the day before, or something I'm excited about in the day to come, but I make a point to recognize the goodness and be thankful for it!
Once I've completed the list, I read aloud what I've written, and repeat "Thank you... thank you... thank you....", a practice I've learned from reading Rhonda Byrne's book, The Magic
, which has really helped to shift my attitude from negative to positive.
So for this week, I encourage you to join me in this practice. Take time out every day to think of 10 things you have been blessed with, feel fabulous about them, and express gratitude for them. Write them down in a journal, if you have one. If not, send yourself an email with your list. Read over what you've written and repeat "Thank you... thank you.. thank you...". And for today's Music Therapy with Miss Moon song choice, I've picked a fabulous song to get us all in the attitude of gratitude. I hope you all will enjoy "Thank U" by Alanis Morissette.
How bout getting off these antibiotics?
How bout stopping eating when I'm full up?
How bout them transparent dangling carrots?
How bout that ever elusive kudo?
Thank you, India
Thank you, terror
Thank you, disillusionment
Thank you, frailty
Thank you, consequence
Thank you, thank you, silence
How bout me not blaming you for everything?
How bout me enjoying the moment for once?
How bout how good it feels to finally forgive you?
How bout grieving it all one at a time?
Thank you, India
Thank you, terror
Thank you, disillusionment
Thank you, frailty
Thank you, consequence
Thank you, thank you, silence
The moment I let go of it was the moment
I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it
Was the moment I touched down
How bout no longer being masochistic?
How bout remembering your divinity?
How bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How bout not equating death with stopping?
Thank you, India
Thank you, terror
Thank you, disillusionment
Thank you, frailty
Thank you, consequence
Thank you, thank you, silence.

“ God is the Sun and when His rays fall upon your heart, not impeded by the clouds of egoism, the lotus blooms and the petals unfold.”
~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba
" The sun does not shine for a few trees and flowers, but for the wide world's joy."
~ Henry Ward Beecher
“Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it”
~ Ninon de Lenclos
“These things I warmly wish for you Someone to love, some work to do, A bit o' sun, a bit o' cheer, And a guardian angel always near”
~ Irish Blessing
As much enjoyment I get from my night walks I must say that my favorite thing to do each day is to go out and feel the sun on my skin. It's getting cooler here in New York City, but there is still sunshine to bask in, if one takes the time out to look for it. Scientists have documented the effects sunlight has on improving one's mood, and from personal experience, I agree. I am definitely a daughter of the darkness, but I proudly admit to having a (not very) clandestine affair with sunlight!!
So this week, for the Creative Visualization Challenge I ask that you spend as much time as you can out in the sunlight. Feel the warm rays of the sun and feel fabulous about it. And to serve as a little inspiration, I hope you all will enjoy "Soak Up the Sun" by Sheryl Crow.
My friend the communist
Holds meetings in his RV
I can't afford his gas
So I'm stuck here watching TV
I don't have digital
I don't have diddly squat
It's not having what you want
It's wanting what you've got
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Gonna tell everyone
To lighten up
I'm gonna tell 'em that
I've got no one to blame
For every time I feel lame
I'm looking up
I'm gonna soak up the sun
I'm gonna soak up the sun
I've got a crummy job
It don't pay near enough
To buy the things it takes
To win me some of your love
Every time I turn around
I'm looking up, you're looking down
Maybe something's wrong with you
That makes you act the way you do
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Gonna tell everyone
To lighten up
I'm gonna tell 'em that
I've got no one to blame
For every time I feel lame
I'm looking up
I'm gonna soak up the sun
While it's still free
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Before it goes out on me
Don't have no master suite
I'm still the king of me
You have a fancy ride, but baby
I'm the one who has the key
Every time I turn around
I'm looking up, you're looking down
Maybe something's wrong with you
That makes you act the way you do
Maybe I am crazy too
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Gonna tell everyone
To lighten up
I'm gonna tell 'em that
I've got no one to blame
For every time I feel lame
I'm looking up
I'm gonna soak up the sun
I'm gonna soak up the sun
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Got my 45 on
So I can rock on.

" Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."
~ Mohandas Gandhi
" Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties."
~ Helen Keller
" Life is meant to be enjoyed, not endured."
~ Anthony J. D'Angelo
I am noticing a change in my life since starting my Creative Visualization Challenge!! I'm getting more responses to my job applications, and I've been on a interview kick since then. I am so happy and excited that that realization of my goal is feeling closer and closer to me.
I know that the object for right now is to keep positive, and let this spirit of optimism take shape into the manifestation of my desires. So I will continue expressing gratitude for the areas in my life that give me joy and happiness. I will continue to visualize my success and celebrate that wonderful feeling as if it's already there. I will continue to live my life with my arms wide open to embrace all the lessons and blessings that come my way!
Today's Music Therapy with Miss Moon song choice is one I recently discovered, and I find it's the perfect song to illustrate the feeling I possess right now. I hope you all will join me in celebrating and expressing joy with "Live Your Life" by Yuna.
Find your light
Don’t hide from what you are
And rise before you fall
And hope for something more
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to
All my life I’ve been looking for something amazing
It’s almost like I’ve been stargazing
The sky is right above me
We were meant for something bigger than this
Don’t ever try to dismiss yourself cause you don’t have to
Find your light
Don’t hide from what you are
And rise before you fall
And hope for something more
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to
All my life my dreams just seemed so far away
And now it’s like they’re here to stay
I hold it close to me
We were meant for something bigger than this
Don’t ever try to dismiss yourself cause you don’t have to
Find your light
Don’t hide from what you are
And rise before you fall
And hope for something more
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to
Live if you really want to

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
~ Mahatma Gandhi
“It is only when you have both divine grace and human endeavor that you can experience bliss, just as you can enjoy the breeze of a fan only when you have both a fan and the electrical energy to operate it.”

"All that we are is a result of what we have thought"
~ Buddha
"And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. "
~ Nelson Mandela
I unfortunately didn't get the job I was super excited about last week, but I am resolute in keeping my Creative Visualization Challenge going, because I know that it's making me see my life and world around me with much more positive eyes. I wanted this week's post to be about how to keep momentum going when there are doubters, haters, or otherwise negative folks all up in your face.
A few weeks ago when reading the horoscope for Scorpio from the FABULOUS Rob Brezsny (Check out his Free Will Astrology website to have his weekly horoscopes emailed to you), I was struck with what Oprah calls an "Aha! Moment":
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Columnist Sydney J. Harris told the following story. "I walked with a friend to the newsstand the other night, and he bought a paper, thanking the owner politely. The owner, however, did not even acknowledge it. 'A sullen fellow, isn't he?' I commented as we walked away. 'Oh, he's that way every night,' shrugged my friend. 'Then why do you continue being so polite to him?' I asked. And my friend
replied, 'Why should I let him determine how I'm going to act?'" I hope you'll adopt that approach in the coming week, Scorpio. Be your best self even if no one appreciates it or responds. Astrologically speaking, this is prime time to anchor yourself in your highest integrity.
Face it: there are negative ass people in this world. I live in New York City, where it seems the bulk of them have chosen to call home (Not true, I know...but it certainly feels that way sometimes). LOL
In going about your day, you may encounter people who are like Statler and Waldorfs for your spirit. And while the knee jerk reaction may be to respond with their negativity with some of your own, like my horoscope said, why should you let anyone determine how YOU are going to act? If you're going to bestow power over yourself to anyone in the world, why pick a bunch of Negative Nancies and Gloomy Guses, you know? Pick the folks that inspire you, and motivate you, and make you feel fabulous about yourself... give your energy to them if you want to!
If you are spiritually shining a bit brighter than someone around you, why dim your light to match them? Keep shining, my dear friends, and perhaps it will influence them to fix what's lacking in their own lives to shine a bit brighter too.
The greatest part of my Aha! Moment was that around the time of reading this horoscope, today's song choice for Music Therapy with Miss Moon was on heavy duty rotation over here at Casa di Miss Moon. I would play this song on a loop while job searching, while blogging, while cooking dinner, while washing dishes and I recently went for a 2 hour walk playing only this song. My friends in "the real world" and FaceBook will know that I am totally in love with this song. It's my cell phone ringtone, for goodness sakes! LOL
Out of pure curiosity, I decided to look up the lyrics and English translation to the song, to get a better understanding why the song resonated so much for me. It's a super-catchy song, and the beat is bad-ass... but I really believed there was more to me liking the song than that.
Imagine my delight and surprise when I discovered the song is about reveling in your own personal connection with God, and is an anthem to shine and feel divine love regardless of what you're encountering around you. So (of course) I said to myself, "This song is SOOOO going to be a Music Therapy with Miss Moon post!!" LOL
The lyrics to this song with english translations come courtesy of both Jugny.com and Space to Rant. I hope you all will shine a bit brighter while shaking your groove thing to "Jugni Ji" by Dr. Zeus, featuring Kanika Kapoor and Shortie. (Note on "Jugni": The word literally means 'Female Firefly', in folk music it stands in for the poet-writer who uses Jugni as an innocent observer to make incisive, often humorous, sometimes sad but always touching observations. In spiritual poetry Jugni means the spirit of life, or essence of life.)
Ae way allah waliyan di jugni ji
The spirit of all the messengers who brought His message to this Earth
Ae way allah waliyan di jugni ji
The spirit of all the messengers who brought His message to this Earth
Ae way meray pir di jugni ji
The spirit of my saint

After not getting any bites in a few weeks, it's awesome to have this opportunity, and I cannot help but think that my improving my attitude is a big cause of this. So I plan on keeping the feel good mojo going, and I hope you all will keep it going with me!

Come on.... who doesn't feel FABULOUS after listening to Deee-Lite? I know that this week's song choice in particular is one that I can play on a loop quite easily, and sing and dance along to. And who knows? Maybe this song will be the celebratory tune I play when I get that awesome job!!! :::Fingers crossed::: In the meantime, I hope you all will enjoy "Two Clouds Above Nine"!!!
Just good things today
Our love's so high
The needle's off the dial
Like a happy tear in your eye
You can't hide the smile
Just good things today
I know I got mine
It's like two clouds above nine
The nth degree of love is in our mind
And we just chose the time
After the rain
I'm on my way to better days
And I must say
No puddle's splash keeps me away
After the rain
Rainbows find my pot of soul
I can't complain
I'm just in from the cold
(Reggae Break)
Damn... that's my jam
Damn... that's my jam
Damn... that's my jam
Damn... that's my jam
Damn... that's my jam
Damn... that's my jam
Just good things today
Our love's so high

And we just chose the time
After the rain
I'm on my way to better days
And I must say

After the rain
Reflections I've seen
Like puddles mixed with gasoline
But I can't complain
After the rain
I'm on my way to better days
Two clouds above nine

It's week two of our Creative Visualization Challenge!! I hope that everyone participating enjoyed and benefited from last week's song choice! I truly believe that our celebrations are very close to us and that moment where we've achieved our goals are well within reach!!
If you are participating, I'd love to hear how it's been going for you. Where did you place your wish in your home and/or personal place? How often did you look at your wish and visualize it's outcome in the past week?
I placed my wish on my headboard so that it could the very first and last thing I could see each day. I had a blast thinking about how I wanted it to look. I'm pretty good on the computer, so I printed out the words and added symbols, confetti and affirmations around the text to really bring the point across.

Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times
Happy days are here again
The time is right
For makin' friends
Let's get together
How 'bout a quarter to ten
Come tomorrow
Let's all do it again
Boys will be boys
Better let them have their toys
Girls will be girls
Cute pony tails and curls
Must put an end
To this stress and strife
I think I want to live the sporting life
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times
A rumor has it that
It's getting late
Time marches on
Just can't wait
The clock keeps turning
Why hesitate
You silly fool
You can't change your fate
Let's cut a rug
A little jive and jitterbug
We want the best
We won't settle for less
Don't be a drag
Participate
Clams on the half shell
And roller-skates
Roller-skates
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
Good times
These are the good times
Our new state of mind
These are the good times

" Visualize this thing that you want, see it, feel it, believe in it. Make your mental blue print, and begin to build.”
~ Robert Collier
" Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. Hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. Your mind will seek to develop the picture."
~ Norman Vincent Peale
" Ordinary people believe only in the possible. Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible."
~ Cherie Carter-Scott
I'd like to invite you all to join me in a practice of Creative Visualization that will be continuing on for the next few weeks. Today, I want you to think of something you really, really want. Take a piece of paper, write down what it is that you want. Turn this piece of paper into a kindergarten art project, color, doodle, draw images that relate to your desires. Tape it somewhere you will be sure to see it (I plan on taping it right next to my bed so that it will be the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see at night).
Every moment your eyes fall on this piece of paper, feel happy, feel proud, feel as if you've just received it. Bask in that sublime feeling of triumph. Imagine calling a friend or loved to share in the good news. How would they respond? Imagine how you will feel when you hear their joy and praise.
In achieving this desire, would you feel like crying tears of joy? Shed those tears, and really put yourself in that wonderful moment where your wishes have come true. When you find yourself in that moment... revel in that feeling. Treat the obtaining of this goal like your favorite holiday!! Celebrate!
Of course today's song pick for Music Therapy with Miss Moon is Madonna's "Holiday". This song symbolizes a party for me, and despite feeling VERY VERY old that the tune is almost 30 years old (Wow!!), it still makes me feel like jumping up and down on the bed, which (let's be honest) is the BEST way to celebrate a success!!!
Over the next few weeks, I will be picking only the best celebratory songs. Use this music to be the soundtrack of your desires coming to you easily, effortlessly, and with harm to none. You can do it!! Who's with me?!?
Holiday Celebrate
Holiday Celebrate
If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice
Everybody spread the word
We're gonna have a celebration
All across the world
In every nation
It's time for the good times
Forget about the bad times, oh yeah
One day to come together
To release the pressure
We need a holiday
If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice
You can turn this world around
And bring back all of those happy days
Put your troubles down
It's time to celebrate
Let love shine
And we will find
A way to come together
And make things better
We need a holiday
If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice

Be Blessed: Cultivating Your Dreams... the Pirate Way!! Aargh!
“Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”
-- Lao Tzu

When asked what you DON'T want out of life, I am sure many of us are quick to come up with a lengthy list. A list that is detailed and specific in the scenarios, situations and people we don't want to enter our lives and our spirits. If asked to voice what you DO want... we have a general idea, but most people would not articulate their desires with the passion they'd use to voice their fears.
A terrific way to direct your focus on inviting the things you want in your life is to create a Treasure Map (Hey, I'm a Pirate Sistah... What'd you expect?!?!?). The following is an excerpt from Shakti Gawain's phenomenal book, "Creative Visualization".. one that is a favorite for me!!
Creating A Treasure Map
by Shakti Gawain
Making a "treasure map" is a very powerful technique, and fun to do. A treasure map is an actual, physical picture of your desired reality. It is valuable because it forms an especially clear, sharp image which can then attract and focus energy into your goal. It works along the same lines as a blueprint for a building.
You can make a treasure map by drawing or painting it, or by making a collage using pictures and words cut from magazines, books or cards, photographs, drawings, and so on. Don't worry if you're not artistically accomplished. Simple, childlike treasure maps are just as effective as great works of art!
Basically the treasure map should show you in your ideal scene, with your goal fully realized.
Here are some guidelines that will help you make the most effective treasure maps:
1. Create a treasure map for a single goal or area of your life, so that you can be sure to include all the elements without getting too complicated. This enables the mind to focus on it more clearly and easily than if you include all your goals on one treasure map. You might want to do one treasure map for your relationships, one for your job, one for your spiritual growth, and so on.
2. You can make it any size that's convenient for you. You may want to keep it in your notebook, hang it on your wall, or carry it in your pocket or purse. I usually make mine on light cardboard, which holds up better than paper.
3. Be sure to put yourself in the picture. For a very realistic effect, use a photograph of yourself. Otherwise draw yourself in. Show yourself being, doing, or having your desired objective -- traveling around the world, wearing your new clothes, or being the proud author of your new book.
4. Show the situation in its ideal, complete form, as if it already exists. You don't need to indicate how it's going to come about. This is the finished product. Don't show anything negative or undesirable.
5. Use lots of color in your treasure map to increase the power and impact on your consciousness.
6. Show yourself in a real setting; make it look believable to yourself.
7. Include some symbol of the infinite which has meaning and power for you. It could be an "om" sign, a cross, Christ, Buddha, a sun radiating light, or any thing that represents universal intelligence or God. This is an acknowledgment and a reminder that everything comes from the infinite source.
8. Put affirmations on your treasure map. "Here I am driving my new hybrid gas and electric car."
Be sure to also include the cosmic affirmation, "This, or something better, now manifests for me in totally satisfying and harmonious ways, for the highest good of all concerned."
The process of creating your treasure map is a powerful step toward manifesting your goal. Now just spend a few minutes each day quietly looking at it, and every once in a while throughout the day give it a thought. That is all that's necessary.
