"Natural hair is unprofessional...", "Black women can’t grow long hair...", "Natural hair isn't versatile...".... I'm sure I am not the only one who has heard or read statements like these before. I've heard dozens of more generalities about what natural hair can and cannot do.
For me, it was the myth that natural hair was somehow easy. That is definitely not the case... While maintenance becomes easier, your hair has to be nurtured and cared for. What "natural hair myths and lies" have you busted in your journey? Let's talk about it, so leave a comment!
