I've been super bummed the past few weeks. I don't know why, really, but alas... I definitely had a king-size case of the blues. And then one day, I felt better. It wasn't magic or anything like that... I just woke up one day and had a brighter outlook.

I don't know if it's the wisdom that ultimately comes with getting older, but the bad moments of my life don't seem quite as bad to me anymore. Sure, I have my bad moments, but they lead to good ones, great ones even.

I'm learning that the secret is to focus on the good moments, and not the bad ones. You will feel sad, you will feel defeated, you will lack motivation... but in the end, you will end up feeling motivated, renewed, and restored. And this week's song choice for Music Therapy with Miss Moon is one that I think really illustrates this point.

When I was around 11 or 12, the self-titled album from Swedish singer Titiyo was on heavy rotation on my little purple casio boombox. The album is pretty hard to come by nowadays, but I still remember the songs quite vividly. When thinking of a song that really puts me in mind to the waxing and waning nature of our emotions, I found myself thinking of today's song choice.
